Kind Adobe support,

Recently my adobe acrobat is not working anymore.

While I try to open a pdf file, it says: "A running instance of Acrobat has caused an error." and the software does not start.

I already did all your procedure illustrated here https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/failed-to-connect-to-dde-server.html  but they do not work.

Can you help to fix this issue ?

Looking forward your answer,

Kind regards,

Hello,

I hope you're doing well, and we apologize for the delayed response and the trouble.

Have you tried the registry settings from the following article:  Error: A running instance of Acrobat has caused an error

If not, please try again. If the issue persists, please use the Acrobat cleaner tool to remove the installed application, restart the machine, and install Acrobat.

Let us know how it goes.

Thanks,

Anand Sri.
