Access Denied when attempting to send document for signature

Participant ,

I recently changed the username of my Adobe account, which seems to have broken my ability to send documents for signature through Acrobat Pro DC.

I now get the following error:

Access Denied

I have signed out and back in to Acrobat and it did not resolve the issue.

Hello,

I have checked your account with the email address used by you to sign-in to the forums.

The account shows as active and seems to be working fine.

Let us know if you are still experiencing the issue.

Regards,

Meenakshi

I have the same problem. Using adobe reader DC. I thought I was able to send 2 documents per month. When I just tried, it says

I am also having this same issue. Nothing I've tried (forum advice, Help desk, etc..) has worked. Any advice how to go forward???

Hello!

Thank you for reaching out.

We have checked your account and see that you are subscribed to Acrobat Pro DC. However, your Adobe Sign account shows in pending state. Did you recently changed your Adobe ID email address?

If yes, then it may be the reason you receive the error message. It happens when you use the email address (new Adobe ID you choose) that was already registered for an Aodobe Sign account. So, the email address gets update for Adobe account, not for the linked Adobe Sign account.

If it is not the above case, then please try the following steps:

1. Sign out from the Acrobat Pro DC.

2. Open the link https://documentcloud.adobe.com/ and sign in using your Adobe ID.

3. Try to use the Request signature feature on online account.

If it works, then sign in again to Acrobat Pro DC and try to send the document.

Let us know how it goes.

Thanks,

Meenakshi
