Accessibility Conflict between Figures Alternate Text Error and Nested Alternate Text Error

New Here ,

Hello, I'm trying to make a large and complex PDF pass the accessibility check. I have only one last issue but it's proven to be quite tricky. The accessibility check returned a Figures Alternate Text error because there were many figures without alternate text in the PDF. I used the Fix button and applied alternate text with the wizard and fixed that problem. However, as soon as I finished the accessibility check reported a new problem, which is that nested elements had alternate text - the alternate text I just added. If I fix that issue by deleting the alternate text I just get flagged for the new issue. It seems like a real Catch-22, as if I fix one problem it breaks the other. Any advice on how I can solve this problem?

I would look carefully through the tag tree (in the Tags pane) to check for <Figure> tags that are improperly nested under other <Figure> tags - and drag them to their proper place in the tag order. If the error persists I would do the same thing in the Content pane.
