ACrobat îs not updating a new file exported from indesign

i export the file from indesign, replacing the file that i just viewed in acrobat. i view in acrobat and its the previous file, it used to update.. am i missing something?

@hegercreative you need to make sure you close the file that you viewed in Acrobat. I do this all the time! Once you close that file, and open the new file it should open no problem

So there is no way to have it update the file automatically that you just changed? like a preference or something?  Thing is when you do close it, the new one does not appear in list of recents, you have to close the window, then go find the new one and open it. And if the window still happens to be open it wont even let you view the new one. 

I work fast and rarely do I remember to close them after viewing.

Sorry for the troubled experience.

There was a known issue before Dec 2024, and it has been fixed already. 
Ensure your copy of Acrobat is updated, to check for pending updates, launch Acrobat > Help > Check For Updates.
