New Here ,
Nov 04, 2019 Nov 04, 2019

Good day,

I purchased a retail copy of Acrobat Standard 6. My old machine died and need to install this on my new machine.

I've do have my serial from my retail package but I've no optical drive.

How do I go about retrieving the software without the CD?

Thank you

Let me start ff by saying that I hope you didn't recently purchase that software. Acrobat 6 is over 15 years old and Adobe ended support for it years ago. It's not even listed on their end of life page: Adobe products and technical support periods covered under the new Lifecycle Policy

Acrobat 6 is not among the products listed on the download page here: https://helpx.adobe.com/download-install/kb/acrobat-downloads.html

Even if you could find it available for download, your new computer likely won't be able to run the software. Sorry, friend. You really should consider using a more modern version of Acrobat.

No chance of a download, so I suggest you consider a portable plug-in CD drive. Don't expect it to work on anything later than Windows XP.
