acrobat actions not working Continuous version 2025.001.20566

After the update to version 2025.001.20566, I cannot use any of my actions. The error message that I get is

"This file originated from a potentially unsafe location and is skipped in this action. Please use Acrobat "Enhanced Security" feature to specify privileged locations for trusted content." When I go to Preferences > Security (Enhanced), the options are greyed out, I can't make any changes. My IT department looked into it and says it's Adobe's fault and I need to wait until the next update. Is this true? It's only affecting the actions feature. How can I get this fixed and get actions to work again?

Hi Kimberly35506844qmbh,

Thank you for reaching out, and sorry about the trouble caused.

Please confirm if the actions were working fine before. it would be helpful if you can share the screen shot of the error message.

Could you please try creating a new action and see if that works? Also, if you can share the screen recording of the issue occurring on your end when trying to use the actions, it will help us to check this behavior further.

Please do share the OS version number on the machine.

Thanks,

Meenakshi

Hi Meenakshi,

The actions were working fine before the update. I can create a new action, but it still won't execute. Same error message. OS version is Windows 11.

Thank you,

Kimberly
