I came into the office this morning to find that my Acrobat had apparently updated without my permission (I have all applications set to prompt for updates, for exactly this reason), and now it is not working properly with my third party addons, which are required for the work I do, and are the main reason I didn't want to update in the first place. Ironically, the same thing happened to someone else in my department a few days ago.

I was previously using Acrobat X, and now I have DC. Attempts to open Acrobat X are met with the application crashing.

Hi,

Please describe what exactly updated without your permission: Adobe Acrobat X already reached end of life. So, there shouldn't be anymore updates that can be applied to it.

Are you saying it upgraded by itself to Adobe Acrobat Pro DC?

Or did the operating system performed unattended updates?
