I have been having issues with printing PDF files. We have Acrobat DC , and can open any PDF just fine, however when attempting to print nothing happens. Acrobat doesn't even appear to send the print job to the printer. We've tested on multiple printers and the problem is the same.
All other programs are printing fine to the printer and it seems Adobe DC is the only app having this issue so far.
I've ensured all correct and current printer drivers are installed
Acrobat Standard DC is up to date as of 2/28/19
The printer can print other jobs from other software (i.e. Word, Notepad, etc.) without issues
We are running Windows 10 and not MAC OS
Is there any solution to this problem that I can apply and have the product working please?
Thank you

Hey Kristyl,
Sorry to hear about the trouble.
As mentioned, Acrobat DC isn't showing the print dialog when giving the print command. You have also checked with different printers which working fine with other programs but having trouble with only Acrobat DC.
Above information shows the problem is only with the Acrobat DC's print performance. You may try few steps suggested below and see if that helps-
Additional Info: we have checked your Adobe account and found a Creative Cloud Team subscription. CC package allows to use Acrobat Pro DC. There wasn't any Std. version registered. So from where did you get that Acrobat Std. DC, is it continuous or classic?
Thanks,
Akanchha

I have a similar problem. I have Acrobat DC via CC. It has worked well until now. I cannot print to the default printer, though all other apps in Win 10 can. I tried Repair install - didn't work. I tried removing it from CC - rebooted and "updated it" from CC - no joy. I tried repair install again - no difference. I went to download the cleaner tool, but stopped, because it appears that it is not for use with CC apps - only with standalone apps. Now what? Is there another tool I should use, or should I ignore the warning about CC apps. This is becoming a frustrating waste of time. Acrobat is not much use if it cannot print...
Thanks for any help you might be able to provide.
Joe
Note - Acrobat Reader DC prints perfectly.

Hey Joe,
Acrobat should picks up Printer list from OS automatically (as Reader did), there isn't any thing required to be done manually. But in your case seems you haven't got the default printer in Acrobat's printer list? Is it missing or just not printing to the default printer?
Which version of Acrobat you have got? Open Acrobat>Help>About Acrobat

Cleaner tool shouldn't be coming up with that warning, because its meant to remove all (CC and standalone) version of Acrobat. Ignore the warning and proceed with uninstallation process.
If that doesn't help, then try the solution given in: printer not listed in printer list
Thanks,
Akanchha

I posted a chat with Support. After some back and forth, the agent made some changes to my registry and it was fixed. Sorry, I do not know what the changes were, but am happy to be able to print from Acrobat DC Pro again.

Hi memeb
We are sorry for the trouble and the delay in response. As described you are not able to print and get an error
Would you mind sharing the screenshot of the error message for a better understanding?
Is this an issue with a particular PDF file or with all the PDFs? Please try to print a different PDF file and check
You may also try to print as an image and see if that helps. Go to Print > Advanced > Print as an Image.
Let us know how it goes
Regards
Amal
