I'm having the same issue. The app seems to be up to date, but it crashes all the time and is SUPER slow. Makes it almost unusable. How can this be fixed?

It's not Apple Silicon native. It runs on Intel Architecture. Open Activity Monitor and see for yourself.

Same problem here with Mac M1.  No excuse for Adobe not to fix.  They know Apple is moving to their own silicon.  I'm a paying customer and Reader DC is the application I use most, but as others have noted, it constantly stops working or lags badly when scrolling.

Hi @Alamout72 @BNoltner @alexsmedile @its15426586 @defaultxgidf7k7pbyo

Sorry for trouble you are facing. Could you please provide the crash stack? Refer https://helpx.adobe.com/in/acrobat/kb/collect-logs-crash-freeze.html for instructions on how to collect that. Please also provide the Acrobat and MacOS version you are using.

Also, Acrobat has already added native Apple silicon support with Sept 2021 release of Acrobat. We are rolling it out to end users in a phased manner. You could try enabling native mode as well if it fixes the issue.

Refer https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/apple-silicon-m1-processor-support.html for instruction on how to enable native mode.

Thanks,

Ankit
