Acrobat DC Pro Embedded Search Index not working with advanced search

Software: Acrobat Pro DC 2022.002.20212

The fileshare has read only file access.

 

My company is running Acrobat Pro DC in a Citrix enviroment with Teams licensing where each user logs in with their adobe account credentials.

 

Our OCR PDF's with embedded index no do not search correctly; a search on a PDF with an embedded index brings back no results (see image) even though the PDF contains multiple words eg 'The' where previosuly with Acrobat Pro 2017 it worked fine.   

 

After several tests I have found that if I 'Run as Administrator' Acrobat Pro DC then the search results come back fine (see image).  

 

I cannot allow our standard users to run the program as Administrator.

 

Can someone help please as we cannot search any PDF's as we could previously with Acrobat DC 2017.
