This is a strange one but I've isolated it to Acrobat DC Pro (I'm using ver 21.007.20099.61736 in WIN 10).
Users are removed from NTFS permissions on pdf files causing them to not be visible from a remote computer on the network.
It happens consistantly under the following conditions:
1) Scan or create a new pdf file in any public folder in my case users\public\documents
2) Look at the pdf's NTFS permissions (rt click>properties>security and look at the "group or user names"), There should be several groups and users typically matching the public folder permissions they were properly inherited from).
3) Open the file in Acrobat DC Pro and run the "optimize c\scanned pages" tool.
4) Save the document (not "save as").
Now check the NTFS file permissions and (assuming this isn't unique to me) you'll see several of the users were removed from the security permission.
Does anyone else see this or is it just me?
It doesn't happen with other editing withing the pdf that I've tried. Just the enhance/optimize scanned files than save (over the original file). If I "save as" the new file maintains all the original permissions.
Is it a known issue or am I alone? Any suggested fixes?

I wanted to edit my post to clean it up a bit but I don't see how to do it. I think the main issue is understandable with my errors and typos.
I want to add that I experimented with another PC running with a very similar configuration to the PC above except it's running an older version of Acrobar DC Pro (20.009.20063.54258). The problem doesn't occor on the 2nd PC. I'll attempt updating Acrobat on the 1st PC to the latest version to see if this problem still exists.
