Brothers (all in on) MFC-665cw

I thought that this program could do this (scan doc. to create a pdf.  But it seems that I would have to buy an additonal subscription- Adobe pdf pack.

$5.84/ mo. to do this.   & I can't reply here in  discussions ???

Ok, we started out in the wrong direction because you said you had Acrobat DC. Acrobat DC can do this. Acrobat DC is not free, it's something you pay for. And Acrobat READER DC is not the same thing at all.

So, you have Reader. It can't scan. But in fact this scanner can make PDF files "out of the box" with no need of any Adobe software to make them. (Though you want Reader to view them). Brother tell you how here Scan and save a document in PDF format (Scan to File) | Brother  but if there is any problem with this I suggest you contact Brother.

Hi Franki111,

If you have Adobe Acrobat DC subscription, it will certainly allow you to scan and create a PDF.

You need not buy any additional service for the same.

Please confirm your Adobe id so we can check your account at our end too.

Thanks,

Supriya

Hello sb116, Thank for your reply, My prob. was solved in forum earlier when I found out I just have "Reader" I don't have the CD- Rom for the all in one, so I'd have to get another scan to Pdf program. Brother told me I could use Paperport. Then speakin w/Paperport They recommended Paperport 14 . I was looking for simplest program, but it's rather large doing way more than my needs of converting a dozen or so Doc.'s to Pdf. (& there were prob.'s It Crashed in about 1 Hour & I uninstalled it ) So for now I can still scan image of doc.'s & put them in folders

My mistake, I don't have Acrobat DC, I have Acrobat DC  Reader installed
