Hi, I have an annoying problem. Whenever I export a file from Id in pdf (using the same name), Acrobat Pro DC always shows the first version. I checked with a previous version of Acrobat and the pdf is readable and correctly made, but on the DC version I can only see the first file I produced. As you can imagine, this is quite a big issue. It is as if it has the first version "in cache" and sticks to it. Any suggestions?
Hope you are doing well and sorry for the trouble. As described Whenever you export a file from Id in pdf (using the same name), Acrobat Pro DC always shows the first version.
Is this a behavior with a particular file or with all the files you try to export from ID? Please check the export settings and see if that works.
Would you mind sharing the version of the Adobe Acrobat DC you are using? To check the version go to Help . About Acrobat and make sure you have the latest version 21.05.20048 installed. Go to Help > Check for Updates and reboot the computer once.
What happens if you try to export the file from ID in PDF (Using a different name)?
Hi, thanks for the reply. It happened to me several times with different files, but not always. It's a strange behavior.
I have Acrobat DC updated to the latest version.
If I export the file using a different name everything seems to be fine, but the real key-thing is that if I open the "wrong" file (I mean the arguably "not-updated" one) with a previous version of Acrobat everything is correct. So I desume that's a problem of visualization in Acrobat, as if it has "in cache" the first version and always decides to show it instead of the new one.
