Acrobat - E-Signatures tool not appearing in Desktop App

New Here ,
Feb 28, 2023 Feb 28, 2023

Hi There,

I am unable to access the 'Create E-Signatures' tool in Adobe Acrobat Desktop application. I can access it via Adobe online, but not on the desktop app, which is where I would like to access it from.

Under 'Tools', 'Forms and Signatures' only 'Fill & Sign', 'Prepare Form' and 'Certificates' appear.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the Adobe Acrobat application on my computer, then reopened. The 'Request e-Signatures' tool is still not appearing on the desktop version.

Can I please have some assistance with this?

Hi @Jess28272787bi71

Hope you are doing well and sorry to hear that.

The option to request E-signatures in available within the Fill and Sign tool as shown in the screenshot below:

Please go to Fill and sign tool and check if you have the option available there.

Hello Amal,

Thank-you for the quick reply.
When accessing the 'fill and sign' tool, the only option that appears on the desktop app is 'Sign Yourself'. The 'Request E-Signatures' button does not appear. Please refer to attached snapshot for reference.

Hi @Jess28272787bi71

We are sorry for the delayed response.

Please try to  remove the application using the Acrobat cleaner tool https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/Labs/cleaner.html  , reboot the computer once and reinstall the application using the direct link
https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/acrobat-dc-downloads.html and see if that helps.

Regards
Amal
