Acrobat finds nothing in the search

It happens very often that Acrobat (full version) does not find anything when searching, even though the search term definitely exists (see appendix). The terms I'm looking for are not gridded in the PDF but are stored as text.

This doesn't happen with every PDF. Often other search terms can be found in the search. I haven't been able to recognize a pattern yet as to why it sometimes works and sometimes doesn't.

If you tried to attach something to your post, it didn't come through.

Just because you can see the text on the screen, doesn't mean it's actually there.

Are you able to select it with the mouse? If so, copy it and then paste in another application.

Does it appear correctly when you paste it?

OK, I see the screenshots now, and my recommendations still apply.

As for the first text, the issue is most likely that the "fl" is a glyph, so searching for it will fail if you use two letters.

As for the number it could be a font issue, if it's real text at all...
