I created a data entry form using acrobat pro dc. When I execute the file on my computer, it runs under Acrobat Pro DC and works fine. When I execute the file on our web site, hosted by GoDaddy, and using Edge as the browser, the boxes around the fields do not show nor do the red required fields show red, nor do the two buttons, Print and Submit, work. When I execute it on our web site using chrome, everything works fine except for the submit button, which still doesn’t work. Can a JavaScript be used to get around this problem? Any help or insight is greatly appreciated.

Each browser has its own PDF viewer. Some support fields, some don't. No amount of JavaScript can make Edge do what Microsoft didn't design... so your users need to be told to download the file and open it in Reader.

You can force the PDF download by modifying the site's ".htaccess" file:

If you have more control over the site it's better to set a Content-disposition, if you can. The neat trick on that page works most of the time but only because people mostly want to download application/octet-stream content.
