I reinstalled Acrobat on windows 10 and it hangs from the get go like the previous version. Not only will it not allow me to navigate a file but nothing works on the screen not even to close the application. Is there a version that works?

@Florida_Bob what? How frustrating!?! Have you updated Windows and Acrobat to the latest versions, then run Acrobat as Administrator and use Help > Repair Installation; if it still hangs, disable Protected Mode (Edit > Preferences > Security (Enhanced)) temporarily and remove third‑party plug‑ins, clear Acrobat’s cached preferences by renaming the user prefs folder, test with a new Windows user profile, and check your antivirus/firewall or graphics driver for conflicts; if none of that helps, uninstall completely (use theAdobe Cleaner tool if available), install the last known working Acrobat version compatible with Windows 10
