Hello
Why does it take forever for a file to open at the beginning of a session with Adobe Acrobat? The spinning wheel of death comes in, searching, looking for things, in search of something.
I get it. I totally get it that Adobe has installed trackers and bots in my machine so that 'it' knows when I open a file BUT this slows things up.
Even Microsoft Word is faster at the beginning.
Are you experiencing the slow launch of the application or is it just my machine? I am using a MacBook Air with 4 gigs of ram and I have the latest Adobe Acrobat from Creative Cloud.
Please help me solve this riddle. I am not happy with how slow things are turning out to be. Even with the smallest of files.

Have you tried a re-start of your Mac? That may clear out some cache files.
