Acrobat keeps crashing when trying to reduce file size & glitches when making changes to files

I am on Mac OS Monterrey & just updated acrobat to version 2023.001.20063. When I try to reduce the file size, it freezes and then crashes. 

It also glitches out super badly when I try to make a change to a PDF on Acrobat.

Is this an issue with a particular PDF file or all the PDFs? Please try with a different PDF file and check. If the file is stored on a shared network/drive, please download it to your computer locally and then try again.

You may also try to create the root account in MAC, try using the application there, and check.
