I use my iPad a lot for work and I am able to open some files using the Acrobat app for iPad but some files say that they require Acrobat DC for windows or Mac. Has anyone been able to find a soloution to open this type of file using an iPad?

There is no iPad app I know of that can open this kind of PDF file. It's called an "XFA" file, and is made using a tool called "LiveCycle Designer". If it's your form you need to remake it in Acrobat; conversion is not a possibility. Acrobat forms are much less powerful than XFA forms (e.g. no dynamic layout).
