Acrobat preflight PDF/A-2B validation failing for simple file

New Here ,

Hello,

I'm trying to generate a simple file that conforms with PDF/A-2B, but I can’t get Acrobat’s preflight to validate it.  The file uses a custom Type 3 embed font. The errors I get seem to be tied to the glyphs, but I can’t seem to figure out what’s wrong.

I’ve tried using some other PDF/A validation tools (veraPDF, 3-Heights PDF Validator) and they say the file is compliant.

Also, if I generate the same file but with compliance level 1B (basically just changing some flags) it validates just fine in Acrobat preflight.

I’ve attached the PDF/A-2B version of the file.

I would a appreciate is someone can help me understand what Acrobat sees wrong with my 2B file.

Thank you,

Dan Popa
