acrobat pro 2015 cannot edit pdf files

Please see pdf file below. Can you tell me what these boxes are called please and what do I have to do to remove them or allow edit with adobe acrobat pro 2015.

I have tried to find out what they are called and how to edit but completely failed.

Hope you are doing well and thanks for reaching out.

Is this an issue with a particular PDF file or with all the PDFs? Please try with a different file and check.

What is the workflow /steps you did to create the PDF file? Please try to recreate the PDF from the original source file and see if that works.

Also Adobe Acrobat 2015 is an EOL application and not supported on the latest Mac and Win OS. For more information please check the help page https://adobe.ly/4ceREwR
