I saw this on here earlier and supposedly it was solved but not really because the answer posted was for Acrobat DC.
I DO NOT need Acrobat DC online support. I have Acrobat Pro 2017. It's a stand alone product that is not an online subcription. I have Windows 7 pro and the Canon printer Image Class MF7473 is working correctly because I can use that to scan. Why not just use this to scan instead of Acrobat? Because I bought four of these and I expect a product to work when I purchase it. It also use to work find in Acrobat XI and was so easy to scan documents directly from the Acrobat software.
I cannot find a scanner when attempting to scan from the Acrobat Pro 2017 prepare a document tool. It shows "Scanner not found.". There is NO list of scanners in the drop down. Nothing shows up.
Please answer for Acrobat Pro 2017. I dont' need any acrobat DC standard replies. All scanner drivers are up to date for this Cannon all in one printer scanner.

Hi Terasinc,
We are sorry for the trouble. As described, you are getting the error: 'Scanner not found' when trying to scan a file.
Please try the troubleshooting steps provided in the help article (https://helpx.adobe.com/in/acrobat/kb/troubleshoot-scanner-issues-acrobat.html) and see if that helps.
Let us know how it goes.
Regards
Amal
