Cant get Acrobat Pro 2017 to even open! It was initially working fine and then I installed Adobe Photoshop Elements 2019 and the Acrobat Pro stopped working. I double click the application icon and nothing happens. Ive tried uninstalling and reinstalling (several times). Ive tried clearing cache files in Adobe 2017 folder in my library. I am unable to find any forums on this exact problem. Im working on an iMac running 10.13.6. Any feedback or reccomendations would be super helpful!

Hi there

We are sorry for the trouble. As described the Adobe Acrobat 2017 is not opening after installing Photoshop elements

Do you get any error messgae while trying to open the Acrobat Pro 2017? If yes, please share the screenshot of the same for a better understanding.

As you have already tried uninstalling and reinstalling the application without any success, please try removing the application using the Acrobat Cleaner Tool as follows:

If it still doesn't work, please try creating a new test user profile with full admin rights or enable the root account in Mac and try installing and using the application there and check.

Keep us posted with the results

Regards

Amal
