Hello,
I have Adobe Acrobat Pro 2020, and working on a Mac I'm trying to work on a PDF to complete the layout of a book almost to be published.
After I imported some jpg files containing also some text, all at a sudden Acrobat showed a pop-up window informing me that parts of the texts were going to be canceled or substitued, because there were some letters unknown by the system, and after an automatical saving of the work I was doing, I realized that Acrobat canceled here and there IN ALL THE TEXT of my PDF, including the texts inside the jpg files : parts or letters of the text have been erased.
So now I'm in the desperate situation obligeing me to rewrite all the text again, with the terrible threat to see again parts of the text disappear, if I will open the PDF file with Acrobat.
Can anyone tell me how to avoid such a disaster ?
