Acrobat Pro 2020 does not show doc and docx documents as compatible

I just installed Adobe Acrobat 2020 but when I want to select a Word *.docx document from a folder, there are no Word documents showing there. So I can't create a PDF from a Word document. I can create a PDF using Word itself, but I need this other option too. Can anyone help me?
