Acrobat Pro DC Displays Wrong Page Size

Hello. The paper size of my PDF artwork is 15x15cm. When I open it in Adobe Acrobat Pro DC, the size is displayed as 14.998x14.998cm. I have already changed the measurement unit to cm from inches and played around with different display and DPI options but it's useless. I think this has something to do with internal imperial-to-metric conversion. Any thoughts?

If someone could explain why this happens and how to get Acrobat to show the real paper size, I'd be very grateful. Thank you in advance. Here's a screenshot:

Sizes are stored in points, and may well be rounded. If you look at enough decimal places, you will always find some inaccuracy. I suggest you consider this as exactly 15 cm square for your purposes.

Thank you for your reply. However if I just "consider" it as 15cm, a difficulty can potentially arise. What if I will need to cut the paper in half. To specify the cut size I will have to use a calculator to separate 14.998 by 2. And what if it won't be 14.998 but 13.983 for example?

This is really frustrating, to say the least.

This is a common difficulty, but it is caused by looking at too many decimal places. Cutting it in half will be fine. The human eye can detect distances of about 0.1 mm. You would need to make 50 cuts in one page before there is any chance you could detect a problem. There is no practical difference between 14.998 mm and 15.000 mm as measurements of paper. The size is going to vary by much more than this according to humidity and temperature.
