Acrobat PRO DC mail icon not working in Office 365

Hello. Prior to getting Office 365, I was able to click the mail icon in the upper right corner of the pdf and it opened a new email window with the pdf attached. Simple and quick. My office decided to update me to Office 365, and now the email icon will not work. Our tech guys tried changing the settings, and one of 2 things happened. Either clicking the mail icon caused Acrobat PRO DC to crash, or it sent a draft to my email window with the PDF attached, rather than opening in a new email window. So my workflow is crippled a bit. I have a Windows PC, running Windows 10 PRO. My Acrobat is up to date. Although my PC is 64-bit, the Acrobat app is 32-bit. Any ideas on how to get it back to how it used to be? TIA!

Hi Susan

Hope you are doing well and sorry for the trouble. As described, you started experiencing this issue after updating to MS Office 365.

Please try to create a new test user profile with full admin rights in Windows and try using the application there and check.

Also please go through the help page https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/attach-to-email-not-working.html and see if that works for you.

The tech guys had already created a new user profile. All that did was put the pdf attached to an email in my drafts folder. I looked at the help page and followed the steps (yes, I have the most recent version) and now when I click the mail icon from a pdf, it crahses and closes Acrobat. So that didn't work.

Did you run Help > Repair Installation after the update to Office 365?

Sorry--I must have missed that info. Did you try to  uninstall and reinstall Acrobat?

Perhaps it would be better to tell us what was done rather than playing guessing games?😀
