Acrobat Pro freezes when adding ADA Alt text to combined image

Hi All,

I am having issues with Adobe Acrobat Pro DC with the ADA Alt text accessibility being added to a Combined PDF's

I am not getting any error and the only way to et it back working is to forcely close the app. Hoping someone has encountered this and was able to find fix, please share your thoughts thanks

Apologies for the trouble caused, as stated above, you are experiencing issues while adding alt text to combined files as the application freezes, correct?

We need some more information for a better understanding:

• What is the dot version of the application installed? To check the version of the application you may refer to the link - Identify the product and its version for Acrobat and Reader DC​
• What is the OS and version?
• Is this a behavior with a particular file or with any file you try to add the Alt text?
• Is it only freezing on performing this particular action or with any action you try to perform?
• Is the file locally available on your system or is it on the shared network?

Please try to add alt text to any other file and check.

OS Name: Microsoft Windows 10

OS Version: 10.0.16299 

Is this a behavior with a particular file or with any file you try to add the Alt text? any file

Is it only freezing on performing this particular action or with any action you try to perform? only when adding ADA Alt Text

Is the file locally available on your system or is it on the shared network? either Locally or on the Shared Network

Is the file locally available on your system or is it on the shared network? yes Please try to add alt text to any other file and check., same results happen ADD alt text wont work, title is not showing after combining the PDF files

Hello,

I just noticed your product  Version: 19.12.20035.332343

There was an update announced yesterday to version Acrobat DC 2019-012-20036 which include some additional configuration options in the General settings and other improvements.

You can check  if forcing a manual update to this version will fix the issue.

Thanks, I was able to update the version to 20036 for acrobat, tested working but when we start to combine PDF files it works good, but as soon as we start using Auto Tag so we can set the Alternate Text it starts to mess up like it would freeze, some instance it would removed the Header and the keys on the file, Any thoughts?
