Acrobat Pro in Citrix and integration with Internet Explorer

New Here ,

I have installed Acrobat Pro as per:

https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/AdminGuide/licensing.html#nudimagedeploy

The instructions for installing on an image, which I do for our Citrix environment, is to NOT open the program after installing.

I have to open PDF files through Internet Explorer and I get a message "The Acrobat PDF browser plug-in is missing. Please reinstall Adobe Acrobat or Adobe Acrobat Reader to fix this problem"

I have reinstalled Acrobat Pro (just downloaded today) and when I try to test opening a PDF I get "Before proceeding you must first launch Adobe Acrobat"

Because this is my image, the instructions tell me to not open the program.

How can I ensure that the PDF plug-in is installed in my browser on my image?

Sandy
