A new hard drive was installed in my computer.  After logging in, I deleted the name associated with the old hard drive.  I went to re-download Acrobat Pro, etc., to my computer.  So, I downloaded the required *.exe file, but it stops soon after it starts.  Why?  What can I do about it?  Thank you.

Hi @Julie Mark280217434fmq

Sorry to hear about the trouble caused.

Try the following steps and see if that helps:

1- Reboot your computer

2- Run this cleaner tool to remove the existing installer and application’s file traces:

https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/Labs/cleaner.html

Download the Acrobat installer from here:

https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/acrobat-dc-downloads.html

If this doesn't work, try downloading the Acrobat after enabling the Hidden admin on your computer.

here's How to enable Hidden Admin

Thanks,

Akanchha
