Acrobat Pro- New Action- Specify Settings missing

I have never used Actions before but I know that once I pick my tools to add, and the files to apply it them, I should be able to specify each tool more (e.g. "Add Text"- actually adding what text I want and format it) using the Specify Settings button..... there is no Specify Settings button anwhere. Am I missing something?

Maybe it's just that I don't understand how Actions work and it's limits, but how would Add Text have no settings? Don't I need to tell it what text I want it to add, and format?

When you run the action this tool let you add text.

So all it does is open the tool? That's annoying and not really a time-saver.....  Do you happen to know if it's a possibility if I learned some JavaScript, that I could get this to automatically add text, and my signature to a batch of files?

With a script you add comment text.
