Acrobat Pro: new bugs? Cannot copy and paste.

All I use it for is to copy and paste the logo, text and links at the top of a PDF to another PDF. Been doing it for eight years with Acrobat. Now it seems quite buggy and I can't get it to work. When it does work, it just pastes the "text with formatting," which is just text, no logo, no link. Or, I can copy as "snapshot," but then it pastes as image. I need the exact same header, without recreating it.

Copy and paste is pretty basic in a design app. Maybe Acrobat is going back to only doing very limited editing, the way it used to be ten+ years ago. Am I missing some new mouse gesture?

There's a feature called Header and Footer, perhaps new, but it only does text. Also saw a random error popup.

Continuous release just updated (2023.066.20380), on Windows 11.

One strange workaround didn't work: the new feature that shoves everything online, then you download it back. It's called Stylize this PDF, and goes to new.express.adobe.com and imports the PDF. You can copy between documents in that thing, just what I want. Each is in a separate browser tab, but it works, so there is some cloud clipboard that retains design (the Windows clipboard meanwhile gets the plain text).

Unfortunately the initial import is not faithful, moving wrapped text around, etc., and on some simple PDF's from Acrobat it just says "import failed." The reason I'm paying for Acrobat is to avoid PDF editors that don't work perfectly.
