Acrobat Pro v Reader

I have an old version of Pro (very old) which still works and meets my needs.

But it seems I cannot have this old version of Pro and Reader installed on my new Windows 10 computer.

When I try to install the 2nd program it insists on uninstalling the 1st one.

Does anybody know how I can get around this please?

Which version of Reader exactly? Which version of Acrobat Pro, exactly?

What operating system?

What message do you get?

Thanks for responding so promptly.

Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro - I mainly use this for editing the properties in a pdf file and cropping.

I know Reader can do this if I pay but Pro does what I need and I would like to have Reader on my computer as well as I have always been able to do.
