Acrobat (Release 2025.001-0937) - Paused - High memory usage - iMac 15.5 (24F74)

So I left my Adobe software on during my one hour lunch break. I had one opened file in InDesign, was working on table before, along opened Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat - no files opened there. I came back to this window (see below), which I never ever seen in my life before.
What is going on ? is AI learning or what is it doing ? I would not probably mind but 82 GBs ? 😮

Hi there,

Hope you are doing well and thanks for reaching out.

This message is not related to AI learning or anything happening with your content. It usually appears when the apps are managing temporary files, cache, crash recovery data, or Creative Cloud syncing in the background—especially if several Adobe apps were left open for a long period.

82GB definitely looks larger than expected, so a few things to try:

  • Close all Adobe apps completely, reboot the computer once, and then reopen only Adobe Acrobat and check if the message reappears.

If it still doesn't works, you may try to remove the application using the Acrobat cleaner tool https://adobe.ly/4oOxIaf , reboot the computer and reinstall the application using the direct link https://adobe.ly/44guncu and see if that helps.
