It takes 30 seconds for Acrobat to open from the task bar.
24.1 on W11 24H2
It also takes a long time for a pdf to open from windows explorer.

Hi @Ann Bens,
Hope you are doing well. Sorry for the trouble!
The next time when you launch Acrobat, would you mind trying out the steps:
Go to Menu-> Preferences-> Security(enhanced)-> uncheck "Run in AppContainer."
Let me know if this helps,

Thanks, @Ann Bens, for letting me know it works.
We are in talks with Microsoft on a potential fix for the issue.
Till we are able to get it shipped, disabling AppContainer is a workaround.

Hi,
Has there been any progress/resolution to this matter. We are still using this workaround fix.

Unfortunately not!
The team is still working with Microsoft to get this fixed from their side.
I will update the thread once I hear back.

Hello,
All our users (5 or 6) have been experiencing the same issue where each file open process takes about 30 seconds. We have tried the workaround mentioned above and it works intermittently at best. Maybe 10-20% of the time. Not sure if anyone else is having the same problem with the workaround but thought I'd mention it. Productivity is way down for myself and a couple others who are in PDFs all day long so if anybody knows of any other workarounds while we wait for the MS fix we will try anything. Thank you all and Happy New Year.
