Acrobat stürzt ständig ab, Arbeiten unmöglich

Community Beginner ,

Hallo zusammen,

  • Text markiert, keine Reaktion, Absturz
  • Suchfunktion genutzt, keine Reaktion, Absturz

Keine Verbesserung. Was kann ich noch tun?

Hallo,

Hi @the_PPE ,

Could you please confirm how you installed Acrobat on your machine?

Also, do you have any thrird party plugins installed ?

Regards

Ravi

Dear @ravinderg62643219,

I downloaded the Creative Cloud app and then installed Photoshop, Indesign, Acrobat and Lightroom. There are 0 third party plugins installed in any of the programs.

Strangely enough I worked with Acrobat 3-4 hours on sunday without any problem. Will test again later, hopefully it stays that way.

Well, today the same behaviour as described before. I open a PDF file, click on something (page administration/removal) and the whole program crashes.

The same thing has been happening to me with Acrobat since yesterday. So far I have had no problems.
I export a PDF from Indesign.
It opens automatically in Acrobat and after 2 seconds only the beach ball is spinning
Acrobat version 2024.003.20180
No additional plugins
It is not possible to work with Acrobat.

I have found something...
I have selected the option “Deactivate new Acrobat view”.
With the new view, the crashes were also switched off.
Acrobat works as usual.

I was already totally desperate - but it works with the attitude. Thank you!

I have been testing now for 2 days, currently no crashes. Still the same version of Acrobat. I will get back to you if it starts crashing again.. Really strange behaviour.
