Acrobat tools disappearing on click

New Here ,
Jun 12, 2025 Jun 12, 2025

See photos. When I click to stamp a document, the stamp feature disappears. I deleted my custom stamps, and it still does it this way. Also does it with Edit PDF, and with the AI assistant.

I am paying $170 for this program to work. This is basic functionality. This is nuts.

I saw this thread from a couple years ago and tried each of these to no avail. https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-discussions/the-left-side-menu-column-is-empty/td-p/14181438

Restarted PC. Closed creative cloud and reoponed. Confirmed latest version. Deleted stamps. Tried in different documents with the same problem. I have no third party add ons.

Hi @Kody2658550845h3

Thanks for reporting this issue, it looks like some resource files didn't install properly. Could you please uninstall & reinstall the application and see if this blank view is still coming for all the tools like Edit, Convert, E-sign (that are shown in the screenshot shared by you).

If the issue still persists, please provide the diagnostic logs to investigate the issue properly.

To collect the logs:

  1. Download and run the Diagnostics Utility from: https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/acrobat-diagnostics.html
  2. Click on Start Diagnostics.
  3. Launch Acrobat, reproduce the issue with your file.
  4. Once done, click Stop Monitoring.
  5. Copy the Log ID and share it with us.

Thanks in advance for your support!

Regards,

Vinod
