Acrobat - Type 1 Fonts Support

You have stated that you will no longer be supporting Adobe Type 1 Fonts effective January 2023. Our XPP team has been analyzing the impact this will have on any XPP product deliverables. We are capturing our learnings to provide internal users and our customers with information on how this may impact their use of fonts in applications, in particular Acrobat PDFs.

We’d like to get in touch with someone at Adobe that might give us early access to an Acrobat version that no longer supports these fonts so that we can test our deliverables and communicate more confidently with our internal and external customers.

It may be worth noting that support for displaying PDF files that contain type 1 fonts must continue. But other things may not eg editing text in type 1 fonts. I doubt Adobe have a plan for Acrobat yet, still less a beta.
