I have Acrobat Pro and I cannot get it to function for more than 30 seconds without completely freezing. Im on a brand new gaming desktop with everything calibrated correctly and set up correctly. I have no other issues with any other applications but half the time I cant get past loading Acrobat without it freezing and I if i do it will freeze with something simple like attempting to copy and paste or even hitting the "edit" button. Clicking between pages takes a solid 30 seconds. I need Acrobat for my graduate program and this is just unnacceptable. Ive tried doing a complete reinstall and running as administrator with no success. I cant even export to word to work on a document because the export process freezes acrobat.

Hi ashley_1479,

Thank you for reaching out.

Please try the troubleshooting steps suggested in the following help document for a crash: https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/acrobat-dc-crashes-on-windows-os.html.

If the above suggestion does not work, try reinstalling the application using the following steps:
-Remove the application and run the cleaner tool (https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/Labs/cleaner.html).
-Reboot the machine
-Install Adobe Acrobat from the following page: https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/acrobat-dc-downloads.html.

If the issue still occurs, please share the Acrobat and OS versions on the machine. Share the crash logs using the steps suggested here: https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/collect-logs-crash-freeze.html

Let us know how it goes.

Thanks,

Meenakshi
