Acrobat update error 1334

New Here ,
Mar 24, 2022 Mar 24, 2022

I have Acrobat DC ver. 2022 installed in windows 11. The update process rolls back and ends up with The below error:

The file 'accessibility.aapp2' cannot be installed because the file cannot be found in Cabinet "languages.cab".

I gave it a try to repair the installation but no use.

Please Advise, Thank you.

Hi,

Sorry to hear about the trouble caused.

Would you mind confirming the current version of Adobe Acrobat that you have been working on?

Open Acrobat>help>About Adobe Acrobat

If it doesn't let you run the update from/within the application. Then try downloading it manually from here: https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/ReleaseNotesDC/index.html

Let us know how it goes.

Thanks,

Akanchha

Hi, I downloaded this link and it stopped and gave me the same message regarding the file "accessibility.aap2". Is there a solution?

I am running version Continuous Release 2022.001.20117

Hi All,

I assume that you have tried downloading the patch manually from here https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/ReleaseNotesDC/index.html, and it returned the same error.

If that is the case, you might need to remove the application entirely and make a fresh install.

Use this cleaner tool to remove the app and its traces:https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/Labs/cleaner.html

Once done, download the app from here: https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/acrobat-dc-downloads.html

Thanks,

Akanchha
