After a motherboard replacement I had to reinstall CS 6 Design Standard and after that Acrobat X Pro keeps asking for serial number every time I start Acrobat. Other programs like Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign works as they should.
The CS6 suite has worked flawlessly on this very same computer (Dell Precision 5530) and windows (Win 10 Enterprise) installation before the reinstall.
Adobe chat support are unable to help, they directed me here.

Acrobat X is outdated and not compatible with Windows 10, so these kind of issues are to be expected.
You should make sure you update Acrobat to the latest version available (10.1.16, available here: ftp://ftp.adobe.com/pub/adobe/acrobat/win/10.x/), and maybe run it in Compatibility Mode with an earlier OS, but that's about all you can do.

That's curious since it worked flawlessly before the replacement of an identical motherboard. So this issue should not be a win10 problem. Rather I think Adobe messed something up when they cleared the list of computers that the license was registrered to.
It is 10.1.16 which it also was before so same version.

I had a similar problem some years ago, fixed by running Acrofix.exe at a DOS prompt. See "Doesn't launch after 30 days Installed as part of a CS6 suite". I got there from Josh Winn's 11/27/2018 comment, updated 1/7/2019. I can report Acrobat X still works for me under latest Win10.
Good luck,
David

It works for me too but I have to constantly enter the serial. After enetering the serial it also states that I have to login within 7 days, however it alsways states 7 days no matter how many days it has been.
