Action Button to save, compress and send email

Hello everybody,

I'm using Adobe Acrobat XI PRO.

I'm trying to find a way to create an embedded action button that Saves a Form, Compresses it and Sends it by email.

I already managed to Create the button that Saves and Sends. I miss the Compress part.

Any tips would be helpful.

The only way to optimize a file with a script is using the Preflight tool. You can create a custom profile that does it and then call it using the preflight method of the Document object.

However, in order to save the file without user interaction you would have to run this code from a trusted context, such as an app-level script.
