Activate save-function in a form created in Adobe Experience Manager - Forms

I have created a form in Adobe Exprerience Manager and saved it to a Adobe Dynamic XML Form (*.pdf). Earlier i could activate the save function by saving the form in Adobe Abrobat as a reader extended Pdf.

When a do this now I got a error thats says it isnt possible to activare this reader extended function. What can i do?

Enabling extended features is now useless.

This feature has been deprecated since the release of Acrobat Reader XI (11) in 2012.

Acrobat Reader XI and Acrobat Reader DC no longer need the form to be "Reader Extended" to be able to save it after completion by the end user.

I have a file without extended features and the data that has been entered in the fields cant be saved when I use Abode Acrobat Reader DC (22.002.20191.0). The fields are empty when I open the file again.

You can add the feature with the actuell version of Acrobat Pro DC or Acrobat Pro 2020.

Sorry, I hadn't paid attention to the software used.

This is true for PDF-AcroForms forms created with Acrobat, but it is actually possible that it is not true for PDF-XFA forms.
