Activating Acrobat Pro 2020 Student & Teacher edition purchased abroad

I am interested in purchasing Acrobat Pro 2020 Student & Teacher edition but cannot find any UK retailers who stock the boxed copy. Say I was to import a copy from the USA would Adobe still verify my status as a student and provide me with a serial number?

If not, where would I be able obtain a physical copy of Acrobat in the UK?

No, I don't think that's allowed.

And why do you need a physical boxed copy of the application? Just download the installer and then burn it to a DVD or copy it to a USB stick, if you want to have a copy for your archives.
