Activating Adobe X

Community Beginner ,

I installed my perpetual licensed copy of Adobe Design and Web Premier CS6 on my Windows 11 computer. It installed and worked fine. I entered the SN no problem. All apps work fine and were activated... EXCEPT Acrobat X. Every time I start it it ask me to sign onto my account then re-enter the serial number  (SN) I used to activate the entire suite . None of the other apps in the suite keep asking me to sign onto my account, then enter the SN...again and again and again every single time I open Acrobat.

I finally resorted to just running it as the trial version after the window requesting the SN  advised me that I only have 32767 days to use the trial (which is nearly 90 years!). I coud live with that BUT nevertheless,  I don't want to have to go through this annoying game every single time I try to use acrobat.

One more thing. I installed CS6 on two Windows 11 computers and activated the same way on both after installation. The other computer is NOT asking me to re-enter the SN every single time I open Acrobat (or any of the programs in the suite). I would like to fix this problem on the troublesome computer.  I don't know where to begin. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.
Chick

At the bottom of this page https://helpx.adobe.com/in/x-productkb/policy-pricing/error-activation-limit-reached-sign.html you will find informaiton about the activation servers for - among others - Acrobat X being "retired". With that, you are very likely out of luck, and you should count yourself lucky that you have 90 years of evaluation left 🙂
