I am trying to create a new stamp from browsing an image file.
After selecting the file, it gave me an error message "Error Attempting to read from file".
I tried to reinstall acrobat, and it works for the first attempt, a stamp can be created.
However, when I try to add another stamp, this error shows again.

Hope you are doing well and thanks for reaching out.
Is this an issue with a particular image file that you are trying to use for the stamp or with all the image files? Please try with a different file and check.
If the file is stored on a shared network/drive, please download it to your computer locally and try again. Also make sure you have the Acrobat application updated to the recent version 23.08.20470 go to Help > check for update and reboot the computer.

Hi @Amal.
Thanks for your response. Checked that the application is updated to the latest version 23.08.20470.
I rebooted my PC and tried many images, image types (jpg, tif, png), and they are all located at D: drive. But Acrobat gave me the same error message.

I've got the exact same problem. Any solution for that?

Hi there
What is the version of the Acrobat DC you are using? To check the version go to Help > About Acrobat and make sure you have the recent version 24.02.20687 installed. Go to Help > Check for updates and reboot the computer once.
Also, for testing purposes, please try to turn off the protected mode (Windows Only) and see if that makes any difference. Go to Edit > Preferences > Enhanced Security > Uncheck 'Enable protected mode at startup' Turn off the protected mode and uncheck the enhanced security > Click OK and reboot the computer.
Note: Turn on the security after testing to avoid any security risk.
Let us know how it goes.
