Posted this a year ago:

I have found out that this function has been removed from the Acrobat toolbar / extension in internet browsers.  This applies whether you are in the new cloud version, or have selected to run Acrobat in the older version.

A year later and this function still does not exist.  It was a fabulous feature, obviating the need to combine PDFs.It is ridiculous that Adobe in 2024 has LESS functionality than in 2010.  In addition to all the other HORRIBLE user interface changes in Adobe Acrobat cloud, Adobe as a company is sure going BACKWARDS.

I once again ask that this functionality be restored.  Adobe Acrobat cannot claim to be a "complete" solution without it (and a whole lot of other stuff).

It still exists in the application itself, though, even in the new UI:

Thanks try67.  What I have in my internet browser is:

I note you are saying the "add web page to pdf" is now in the Acrobat software.  My interpretation of this is:

(1)  I'm in, say, Chrome browser, and do a "convert webpage to PDF".  This creates the PDF.

(2)  Then I want to add a page to that, so I have to:

       (a)  Open Acrobat,  (b) open the PDF that was just created, (c)  open Organise Pages,  (d)  select Insert, from web page.     That's FOUR steps.

Previously the "add web page to pdf" option was in the Acrobat extension at the top right of the internet browser screen.  So that involved: converting a webpage to PDF, then:

(a) select "add webpage to existing PDF" directly from the Acrobat extension at the top right of the browser.  ONE STEP RATHER THAN FOUR.   Acrobat knew that you wanted to add the webpage to the PDF that was just created.

So, while it's good to find that the function still exists, it's another example of Adobe making things SO MUCH HARDER, LONGER, MORE STEPS, LESS LOGICAL AND STRAIGHTFORWARD.

I have now finally discovered that the Acrobat extension at the top right of the browser does indeed have the "add webpage to PDF" but it is effectively hidden under Edit:

It's still more steps than before, because you have to open the Edit downward arrow, scroll down, select Add webpage to PDF, then the Explorer screen opens and you have to select a PDF.

While not as good as before, there seems to be some progress.

If you created the PDF already then you don't need to use the Insert from Web Page command. Just insert the PDF file directly. And vice versa. If you use the Insert from Web Page and enter a URL then there's no need to convert that web-page to a PDF before-hand. It does that for you.
