Adding Font to Acrobat

I have a font we purchased when our logo was created and I want to import it into acrobat so I can make changes to a PDF document that is using that font.

I have the font saved on my hard drive. How do I import it into acrobat so I can use it in this PDF edit?

Acrobat uses the Fonts directory of the OS. Installing it on the operating system should make it available in Acrobat, if the font permissions allow for it.
