Adding MP3 into document creates Flash Warning? Why??

Community Beginner ,

Trying to add an audio mp3 file in a page creates a bunch of meaningless warnings.

First it says "To view the Flash technology content in this PDF, please install Flash player"

Then when I click on it "3D content has been disabled. Enable this feature if you trust this document" warning appears?
What 3D content,what Flash file??

That's not meaningless at all. You need to do what it says, because Flash technology is what plays audio and video today. Not clear what will happen in 8 months when Flash ceases to exist. Maybe they will stop working, especially if you don't make it with the latest Acrobat.

Well I cant risk it wondering if the client has the latest Flash installed on theri computer.

I used an online PDF to PPT converter and used Powerpoint to add the file. No problem but Acrobat sucks.

You should read this topic about natively supported audio files: https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat/audio-files-in-pdf-acrobat-needs-flash/m-p/10688840?page=1#M2...

Next time, use HTML5 instead of PDF.  All web browsers natively support MP3 <audio> and MP4 <video> without Flash player or any other 3rd party plugins.   Change path/your_audio_file.mp3 as required.

LATEST

HTML is good for online documents, for offline documents PDF is better.
